ZedNomad explores keeping information and useful tools close at hand. NOMAD is being deployed inside its own virtual machine as another layer of the home lab.

Start with a focused toolkit.
The selected direction includes the information library, maps, AI, notes, and data tools. The education platform was left out of the initial setup so the first version could stay focused.

Keep the AI inside the experiment.
Ollama is being installed within the ZedNomad VM. The setup selected Llama 3.1, DeepSeek R1, and Nomic Embed Text, with document indexing set to ask first.
04 / THE BUILD
Downloads are part of the build.
The latest project notes show setup and downloads underway. Finishing those downloads and testing the installed experience are the next milestones; the system is not being presented as fully commissioned.
